Welcome to the department of Sciences, Kebbi State Polytechnic Dakingari where we provide knowledge and skills needed to put your natural curiosity into practice. The Department of Sciences at Kebbi State Polytechnic was established in January 2015 and the academic activity of the department started in November 2016. We understand scientific and technological knowledge is advancing fast, enabling us to better understand the world around us. That's why we offer Science Laboratory Technology at Kebbi State Polytechnic, Dakingari. The department ensures students get an industry-connected education experience to enable them to provide solutions to the challenges faced by the global community. We are committed to the enhancement of teaching and research and the pursuit of excellence and innovative applications of science as a contribution to the advancement of scientific knowledge, understanding and community relevance.

Head of Department

The department is headed by Mr. Aati Riliwanu who is a Senior Lecturer with over 12 years post qualification experience in academia. He holds Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Biology, 2005, Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), 2009 and Master of Science (Msc.) in Zoology, 2012. He is a registered member of Parasitological and Public Health of Nigeria (PPSN) and Organic Agriculture Programme in Tertiary Institution (OAPTIN).
